Summary:

A regeneration corridor and the northern gateway to the City, the A449 is a busy and congested major route into Wolverhampton from M54, Junction 2. This project aims to make journey times more reliable for all road users, encourage people to cycle and cater to increased travel demand in the future. The proposed works aspire to deliver better connectivity for residents travelling to access jobs, education, and leisure facilities, with businesses also benefitting from more reliable logistics on the corridor and onto the motorway network.
